Common questions
Does ROOZ collect my data?
No. ROOZ has no account, no advertising and no analytics, and what you put into it stays on your device. The privacy policy has the details.
Which holidays does ROOZ show?
Iran's public holidays and occasions, from Iran's official calendar, published by the Calendar Center of the Institute of Geophysics, University of Tehran. A lunar date beyond the official calendar ROOZ holds is estimated, and ROOZ says so.
How does the weather work?
Weather is off until you turn it on. ROOZ then asks Apple's weather service for the current conditions for a city you choose, or for My Location — and asks for your location only if you choose My Location.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. On an iPhone, iOS deletes ROOZ's storage with it; on a Mac, the storage may stay in your Library folder until you delete it. A backup made before then keeps a copy until that backup is deleted.
Is ROOZ free?
Yes: no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no advertising.
